	High Maples Remembered The Smith Family settled on a Farm in Gilford, New Hampshire in 1902 and raised their 10 children there. My Grandmother's old photo albums have been an inspiration for many of my paintings.
"High Maples Farm" by Bonny W. Smith Private collection  Oil on canvas 36" x 48"	"The High Maples Farm Cookbook" by Edna Smith Berquest  Family stories and favorite recipes, published by MacMillan Company in hard cover in the 70's in several editions including a paper back edition. It is now out of print. Bonny W. Smith also did the interior pen and ink illustrations.

Smith Private collection  This painting was based on a snapshot taken by Winnifred Page Smith at High Maples Farm in Gilford, NH around 1920. I remember the road was still unpaved in the early 1950's. It was hard on little bare feet, but that didn't stop kids from going barefoot in the summer.
